I got hooked on Katy Bowman’s “Katy Says” blog back in 2011 after reading her posts on alignment and pressure-based problems – diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, varicose veins, hernias, constipation, high blood pressure and more.
I’ve been explaining these concepts to clients for many years, so was excited to see someone else sharing my views and passion for alignment. Especially since she writes in an accessible and humorous way.
Since then, RE has evolved into Nutritious Movement™, but Under Pressure (Part 1 and 2) continue to be two of my favourite resources to share with clients.
These are must-reads for anyone with a pressure-based problem (very common) or wanting to prevent one. You’ll learn optimal alignment and breathing mechanics for better health, plus some interesting psoas info if you follow the links.
